Description
Height
Delicate evergreen perennial climber reaching several metres. Though it is known to stay low, twining through groundcovers and shrubs. It does not get thick leaves and smother mature plants like some vines.

Succeeds in most soils when grown in a shady position, prefers humus-rich loamy soil.
Flowers
The flower is sweetly scented and bloom in Spring and Summer. The fruit is eaten my numerous bird species.
Tips
Edible young shoots cooked make a fine substitute for asparagus, since it’s a relative.
