Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this event is cancelled.
We will update with a new date as soon as possible.
Event: Kayaking on Brisbane Water (followed by morning tea)
Date: Sunday, 5 April, 2020
Time: To be confirmed - but expect kayaking to be from around 8:00-9:30am - followed by morning tea (9:30-10:30am)
Cost: Minimal or no cost
Starting Venue: To be confirmed
Join us for a kayak on Brisbane Water. It is expected that this will be about 1 hour on the water - at a leisurely pace. Nick Carson from Central Coast Council will share his knowledge about the estuary, birdlife and what Council has planned in terms of estuary education.
Numbers will be limited to 20 for the kayaking - however, even if you are not interested in kayaking (or miss out) - you can join us for morning tea at about 10am. (We note that the Live Well Festival is also planned for that date in Gosford - so why not make a day of it!)
Details are still be finalised - but please reigster below so that we can plan accordingly.
Please book below - once it reaches 20 - please add yourself to the WaitingList (not everybody that registers will want to do kayaking)
The Central Coast Environmental Environment Network (CCEEN) is for sustainability educators from the Central Coast. Educators from all sectors work together and communicate regularly on projects whilst supporting each other and ensuring best practice sustainability education and engagement.
