Small woody trees and shrubs that are hardy and suited to most soil types, from damp to drought, they are also frost tolerant. An attractive plant that puts on a colourful display both when flowering and in its new growth, flowers appear in Spring and Summer with colours ranging from yellow to red, flowers are small with large stamens, making a bottle brush shaped flower spike.
