Frog Pond Habitat Planting

Join CEN, the University of Newcastle and the National Parks and Wildlife Service at a Frog-Friendly Planting Day in Jilliby State Conservation Area.

Saturday 4th May, 10am-1pm

Help create a native habitat for the endangered Littlejohn’s Tree Frog and Giant Burrowing Frog by planting out newly constructed frog ponds at this fun filled family event. We have 700 plants to get into the ground.

  • Delicious lunch provided.
  • Please bring gloves. Gumboots are recommended but optional. Shoes will get muddy!
  • Information on where to meet will be sent out prior to the event.
  • Please note that access to the site is partially dirt road, 2WD accessible.
