Do you want to help the environment but don’t know where to start?
Come along to a free Waterwatch training workshop and learn how you can protect your local coastal lagoon.
Participants will use a Waterwatch kit to test for temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and available phosphate whilst learning about why they are important to test for and what to do with your data so it contributes to the bigger picture. It will be a great opportunity to chat with like minded members of the community and to establish a Waterwatch group at Wamberal Lagoon.
When: Saturday, 9th November 2019
Time: 9:30am-1pm
Where: Heazlett Park, Avoca Lagoon ( meeting location given upon registration)
