The Central Coast Wetlands wildlife corridor planting is located along the banks of Pioneer Creek, a former cow paddock. Restoration along this area commenced just over five years ago in two stages. The third and final stage will fill in a treeless gap along Pioneer Creek and link previously restored habitat with remnant vegetation along Wyong River.

Please Note: The WildVenture program is intended for young adults (18-35), the Central Coast Wetlands will be running other planting opportunites for all ages later in the year.
The restoration project this event is supporting, including all trees, is funded by the Greater Sydney Local Land Services to restore habitat for the Swift Parrot and Regent Honeyeater.
