Brief Aims of Group: The Community Environment Network (CEN) is an independent community group that works for Ecological Sustainable Development and against threats to it.

The Network provides advice, resources, information and support to individuals and community groups to improve their environment in the Gosford, Wyong and Lake Macquarie areas.

Activities: Our activities can be described as follows:
* Providing services to our members - including a resource centre at Ourimbah

* Responding to issues as they arise

* Undertaking projects that deliver on-ground outcomes - including Landcare. Bushcare and Waterwatch activities

* Strategic campaigns that will lead to long-term environmental / sustainability outcomes for the region

* Establishing the Centre for Sustainability

If you are concerned for the environment then join the CEN and strengthen the community environment efforts to preserve, and where necessary rehabilitate, the ecological systems that we and future generations depend on for enjoyment and survival.
